I flew from Manila, Philippines to Puerto Princesa, Palawan, Philippines to explore the Puerto Princesa Subterranean River National Park, which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and was chosen on 11 November 2011 as one of the “New 7 Wonders of Nature.” I joined an American family to the national park whom we met at our private van from the inn near the national park. They were also nice enough to invite me over for dinner at an authentic Filipino restaurant.

Looks like you’re having fun! I need to do something fun.
go eat some beans, brah.
I did eat some beans. Not as much fun as I thought it would be. How far did the river go?
I forget how far we went in distance but I remember the ride was more than an hour long. Actually, the tunnel is far but the tourism board doesn’t allow tourists to go that far due to safety.
